newsom for ca governor
as i watched the news last night, it was mentioned that mayor newsom may run for ca governor in 2006 or 2010 if he can snag the democratic nomination (though it was said that he may be too controversial with same sex marriage issue). while this would be terrible for sf because they'd be losing an awesome mayor, it would be really great for the state (hey, i rhyme!). ca would definitely have the hottest governor and i think we'd get a lot more attention and $ based on that! isn't that how politics should operate?! more hot=more $! it doesn't hurt that he has been fulfilling his election promises. yay, go newsom!
I agree Newsom is good looking and he has national attention on the equal marriage issue. Nevertheless I read from the SF Chronicle that the Dem party is considering Robin William the actor on its list of possible candicate for governor as well. Do you think only another actor can win over the current governor?
