mrs. edwards has breast cancer. :( it is sad for us that kerry/edwards didn't win the election but maybe it was for the best since the edwards family will have some stuff to deal with. i hope she will be healthy soon.

Dear jane doe,
Earlier today I spoke to President Bush, and offered him and Laura our congratulations on their victory. We had a good conversation, and we talked about the danger of division in our country and the need, the desperate need, for unity for finding the common ground, coming together. Today, I hope that we can begin the healing.
In America, it is vital that every vote counts, and that every vote be counted. But the outcome should be decided by voters, not a protracted legal process. I would not give up this fight if there was a chance that we would prevail. But it is now clear that even when all the provisional ballots are counted, which they will be, there won't be enough outstanding votes for our campaign to be able to win Ohio. And therefore, we cannot win this election.
It was a privilege and a gift to spend two years traveling this country, coming to know so many of you. I wish I could just wrap you in my arms and embrace each and every one of you individually all across this nation. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.
To all of you, my volunteers and online supporters, all across this country who gave so much of themselves, thank you. Thanks to William Field, a six-year-old who collected $680, a quarter and a dollar at a time selling bracelets during the summer to help change America. Thanks to Michael Benson from Florida who I spied in a rope line holding a container of money. It turned out he raided his piggy bank and wanted to contribute. And thanks to Alana Wexler, who at 11 years old and started Kids for Kerry.
I thank all of you, who took time to travel, time off from work, and their own vacation time to work in states far and wide. You braved the hot days of summer and the cold days of the fall and the winter to knock on doors because you were determined to open the doors of opportunity to all Americans. You worked your hearts out, and I say, don't lose faith. What you did made a difference, and building on itself, we will go on to make a difference another day. I promise you, that time will come -- the election will come when your work and your ballots will change the world, and it's worth fighting for.
I'm proud of what we stood for in this campaign, and of what we accomplished. When we began, no one thought it was possible to even make this a close race, but we stood for real change, change that would make a real difference in the life of our nation, the lives of our families, and we defined that choice to America. I'll never forget the wonderful people who came to our rallies, who stood in our rope lines, who put their hopes in our hands, who invested in each and every one of us. I saw in them the truth that America is not only great, but it is good.
So here -- with a grateful heart, I leave this campaign with a prayer that has even greater meaning to me now that I've come to know our vast country so much better and that prayer is very simple: God bless America.
Thank you,
John Kerry
i was crushed to hear that kerry conceded (tim puts it best in his latest entry) to bush this morning. it's a sad state of affairs in america when one of the nation's worst presidents receives the highest number of votes in u.s. history. something is crooked and it's not just my spine! at least in 2008, w won't be an option. maybe hillary will pull through. what would that make bill? the first first gentleman (masculine equiv. of lady)?! anyways, back to the original issue of bush being re-elected...how can our country select a president prior to knowing the exact numbers? i know the answer to this but i'm such a stickler for accuracy and fairness. it hardly seems fair that bush has won despite the fact that overseas votes haven't been counted and neither have all the states absentees. i feel the dem party has been screwed 2 elections in a row since they have been so close. i'm hoping things don't get worse.
as you can imagine, i didn't sleep well last night because i was anxious to hear the "final" election results. it reminded me of past christmas eves as a child when i couldn't sleep because i was too anxious to catch santa delivering gifts. this time, i didn't get a gift. :( it's nice to wake up early because i'm able to complete a lot of chores. i know it might sound crazy to wake up at 6 am and clean but if i don't do it then, it won't get done. i'm the type of person who likes checking out and being leisurely once i'm home from work...too many fun things to do that don't include cleaning.
dog was a lazy bum this morning who chose to sleep on the couch under a blanket because she was waiting for ralph. she's so funny! at least her skin isn't itchy anymore thanks to the power of the derm capsules my mom bought at the vet. maybe i could pop a few of her pills to get glowing skin and a shiny coat. my hair could certainly use the boost.
i had my fourth special appoinment yesterday and i think it's safe to say that it's the end of the line until further contact is made on their part. on friday i have another special appointment, this will be the 3rd with this group, and i'm quite nervous because this one had 300 people from the start. what is it now, 20? i don't think this one will pan out but who knows? stranger things have happened, like bush winning this election! :(
latest netflix:
mean girls- 1st viewing, i liked it a lot but i wouldn't add it to my collection or make it a common rental.
white chicks- 2nd viewing, love it!
texas chainsaw, circa 1770 something- waiting to watch with ralph
if you're sitting at the computer reading this and you haven't voted yet, go vote...go vote for kerry! ;)
ralph and i voted this morning and the line was longer than i expected. our polling place only had 5 voting machines which seemed like a low number considering voter turnout was high. ralph was registered twice, which he suspected because he kept receiving duplicates of state election material. too bad they wouldn't let him vote twice. former mayor hammer was in our line so it was interesting to watch opinionated citizens voice their concerns to her considering she doesn't have control, let alone input, over the election process. guess it made them feel better to say it to a former elected official than to keep it pent up in their brain. w.e.
ralph is going to boston today. :( he'll be lucky to be in the state where kerry plans on giving a victory/concession speech. ralph...if you're reading this...don't forget to buy me a red sox world series t!
(if you wish to skip the journal entry and read only about election stuff, go to the 4th paragraph.)
some things just didn't work out this weekend...volunteering didn't pan out on saturday because i was never phoned with where or what to report to and when i tried calling them nobody answered. going to castro last night didn't happen either because a group of us were discouraged by last year's stabbings. i guess it all worked out for the best because i was really tired by 9:30 pm because of the time change.
friday night was a lot of fun because we went to a halloween party and the kids were dressed in the cutest costumes, my favorite being toddlers dressed as the hulk and a lion. ralph was clark kent and i was a bee. lotte was a party animal for aunt b's party but that lasted for a quick 10 minutes for her arrival and some quick pictures. she was tired of the balloons, streamsers, glow sticks, and paper cups so she would've maneuvered it off somehow if we didn't take it off for her. amanda took some nice polaroids but they need to be scanned. they'll be posted sooner or later. last night we hung out with my family to greet trick-or-treaters and ralph and i dressed like mickey mouse and a mouseketeer because we wanted to be something other than our friday costumes.
we watched saw yesterday which was a rather disturbing film with bad acting and some twisted costume ideas! i would definitely wait to catch this one on dvd. movie tickets are so expensive now that it's cheaper (or as much) to buy a dvd (assuming a pair of people is going). if prices continue to increase, i'll have to stick with the matinees.
tomorrow is a big day for the nation- election day! don't forget to bring your id with you when you go to the polls to vote!
i'm concerned with the accuracy of this election because there are so many systems being used across the nation, with the software style of voting being the most suseptibale (sp?) to error. it's not clear to me why our government hasn't developed a single method of voting across the states?!
here are some useful links that might help undecided voters, first time voters, and those who are trying to decide how to vote on ca propositions.
non partisan (sponsored by league of women voters): looking for a president?
non partisan: first time voters
non partisan: project vote smart
non partisan (sponsored by league of women voters): ca state propositions and find your polling place
non partisan: ca health care propositions
democratic/independent-oriented: strategic voting with a swing state partner (things that make you go hmm...)
i'm not supporting this because when it comes to an election this important i can't rely on a good faith vote that alligns with mine, but maybe you can. i find it interesting.
if you believe you are a registered voter but your local poll does not have you on their roster (or you do not have an id), insist on a provisional ballot because it is better than nothing.
today i'm volunteering at my local democratic party office. i'm still not sure what i'm doing but i don't really care at this point as long as it means victory for kerry. v is also for victory!
more on my adventures or unadventures as a volunteer, to come!
"because blood is thinner than oil." interesting site worth checking out.
way to go, new yorker! click on link to read about their political endorsement, obviously for kerry!
on to other things...i'm a netflix subscriber, again. third time is a charm but between me and ralph, i'm sure this has gotta be something like our sixth time subscribing to the service. they just reduced their prices and i've been wanting to lay on my couch more often lately so it was perfect timing. i should get my flix tomorrow and i'm redy to be scared...blair witch, original texas chainsaw (1974?), and confessions of a teenage drama queen.
the red sox are on a roll and i'm so excited for them! i wish i could be at fenway for one of their games, even st. louis would do. i've caught a few minutes of each game, which is all i can take when watching baseball on tv (quite a different experience than the live thing).
this weekend was really mellow. didn't cook or bake. didn't carve pumpkin. didn't do election/proposition review (must do tonight). on friday ralph and i went to consuelo's and then we saw the grudge. the food was so good but we were let down by molten chocolate cake. if it was molten, so am i. it was so cold and barely tasted like chocolate (embedded are some links for good molten cake recipes that i've tested and been happy with). on the other hand, their filet mignon, sopes, sangria, and mojitos made up for it so we left satisfied, mas o menos. as for the movie, it was so scary! i had my hands over my eyes for most of it because there were some disturbing images that i didn't want to carry over into my dreams and wild imaginiation. i would definitely catch it if you're shopping for scares and frights close to halloween.
on saturday we went to the outlets and i bought some overpriced cole haan's (which i retutned the next day) and a plain jane white button down at banana republic. stopped by the coach outlet and it was good for leather purses but they don't carry the signature bags. oh well.
yesterday was an errand day and i hung out with my mom. i feel like i did 5 million things from my "to do" list and i was lucky enough to squeeze in a strawberry crepe! i found some awesome flat shoes which i have been ordered to wear (by my pt) from here on out as long as my back pain persists. i should really get working on my abs so i can wear mini-heels (the kind that make your feet look like little pig's feet) by christmas! i ordered my shoes online to save on the price, get free shipping, and skip paying taxes. yay! so glad i didn't buy them in the store on the spot. my mom and i also picked some goods from kyle's garden which is quite impressive. when i own a home i hope i can have a garden as plentiful as his. mine will definitely have pumpkins though. now that i have fresh basil and vine-grown tomatoes, i'm inspired to make a caprese salad for dinner.
i cleaned my bathroom at 11 pm and it feels so great to not have my makeup bag items and dirty clothes all over the floor and toilet top. it was really gross before. now if i can just get working on the rest of the place. today i'll try to get to the living room and my bedroom after the gym. pg&e person is coming between 1-5 to light the pilot and i'm so embarrased for my mom because they might think the mess is hers. i'm so glad i'm not there to let them in! ;)
today i'm going to boost my mileage at the gym. i've been doing 2.5 miles (don't laugh!) and i'm going to move it to 3 today. i've been running for about 2 weeks and i'll be ecstatic when i can make it to 6 miles, that's my goal. i better get a new pair of running shoes soon because mine are losing their bounce.
i came up with a genius idea for dog's halloween costume (speaking of dressing dogs). best of all, it is easy to make! i'll post pics on saturday because we're going to ant b's halloween party on friday (i better confirm that dog's attendance is ok before i get too zealous with the costume idea). i still need to find a gold crown for my costume and some fake bees for ralph's.
i just received an email from grant and sav confirming their wedding date. i can't wait. my third friend to tie the knot!
haven't heard from dad yet. he's probably consumed with very important things regarding his health right now. i'll try a few more times later.
ralph's corner: on kerry and recent economic advising.
i'm excited that it's friday because this week has been entirely way too long! i'm tired of wearing heels to my appointments because they are breaking my back, so i hope this process is done quickly. i've also switched to a new face product which totally disagrees with my face and my skin now looks like that of a hormonal teen! ugh!
tonight i'm taking ralph out for a surprise. i'm excited myself; i hope he is too! i love surprising people!
ralph's corner: a rolling stone interview with senator kerry (soon to be president kerry!).
careful where you celebrate sports winnings.
oh my gucci, can this be true?
not a bad idea if you've been lookin' for love (or a husband)in all the wrong places.
my corner: interesting creative story on living with dying.

- return sources of skin destruction @ bliss and don't take no for an answer!
- walk dog, unless mom sits
- run @ gym
- candy tray
- clean living room
- get ready for tonight, iron hair? christine left her flat iron at my place! ;)
this weekend:
- carve pumpkins
- return cute but overpriced shoes @ DSW

- outlet shopping?
- city and hot chocolate?
mmm...now i'm craving starbuck's.
my favorite color is pink (bet you would've never guessed, look left, look right), all shades up to red! so i was thrilled when my neighbor called to invite me to a pink party makeup event at nordstrom tonight- she wanted to fill her seat for the whole night so she said to her co-workers, "i know...my dog's girlfreind's mom would like this." they were confused...they just don't get it. ;) she works at the makeup counter there so maybe she can give me a new pink makeover since i tend to stick with the brown tones. the thing that really reeled me in was, "we'll be serving cosmos!" yummy! now that i think about it though, how can a department store serve drinks(sneaky snakes using cosmo bait!)? w.e., it should still be fun. i recruited christine to join me so it'll be interesting to see what they do to our faces. hopefully we won't look like clowns.
had special appointment #2. hopefully i will hear from them soon. one tomorrow. the search continues...
dog is acting weird. i'm not sure if it the latest equinox or the early bad weather that has her acting out of sorts lately. perhaps it is the tire-sized snickerdoodle she snuck out of my bag two nights ago while i was out (which was intended for ralph). i hate when i forget about food hidden in my bags that she discovers. when i returned home, she looked like she was ready to run 2 marathons, and play for 5 hours. the sugar must've made her crash sooner though because she ended up falling asleep nestled in my armpit (good thing i showered after the gym) after 30 minutes of fetch. so, she's been peeing on branches on grass that still have leaves on them. she's scouting them out specifically. it's so weird because instead of peeing 2 times, she saves it up to pee on all the branches. also, she's been barking at all the cute scarecrows in the neighborhood, in addition to pumpkins, and half full cement bags. maybe she's getting in the mood for halloween and feeling spooked because of the new season?! or maybe she sees dead people. i think it's cute to see her personality shift with the weather but we'll see how long it lasts!
ralph's corner: interesting blog on why even republicans should vote for kerry.
a note from the desk of president bill clinton on behalf of the kerry camp- no joke (i feel lucky to receive this! ;) and sorry for the caps, again:
Dear jane doe,
With some people already casting their ballots, the election of 2004 is now underway, and nothing less than the future of our country is at stake. This is the moment for every Democrat to look in the mirror and ask: "What more can I do to help?"
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of a special group of Democratic donors, every dollar you donate today, to the kickoff of our Countdown to Victory Matching Fund, will be matched, doubling the impact of your Countdown to Victory donation.
https://www.democrats.org/support/kerry.html
With so much on the line, and with so little time remaining, I couldn't let a critical moment like this pass without personally calling on you to act before it is too late. I know how hard you're working, how much you've already given of yourself. But we've got to dig even deeper between now and November 2.
These closing days of the campaign are exciting, no doubt about it. But with so much riding on the outcome of this election, we need to make sure our energy translates into effective action. Every one of us has a chance to play a vital role in deciding who wins.
So please donate now and double the impact of your contribution.
https://www.democrats.org/support/kerry.html
We must leave no stone unturned between now and the moment the last poll closes on November 2. The Republicans are pouring millions of dollars into baseless attacks against John Kerry and the Democrats because they know that's the only way they can win. Don't let them get away with it.
John Kerry, John Edwards, and other Democrats locked in tough races are pulling out all the stops. They're driving toward victory -- but they need your help. We've got two weeks to go and not a minute to waste. Your immediate contribution can help fund final media buys, voter contact, and GOTV operations. These are the efforts that are going to win this election, and we cannot do it without your support.
Let's go for it. America's future is on the ballot this year. Let's use these final days of the campaign to win the victory that is within our grasp, and secure the kind of future we want for our children. I'm counting on you.
Sincerely,
Bill Clinton
and more (but not from clinton):
Dear jane doe,
Thank you for the great response we received to my call to action sent out over the weekend. While this election will be decided by small margins in a few states, a big win in California will secure the popular vote victory for John Kerry and John Edwards.
As I mentioned in my last e-mail, there are several ways you can volunteer and make a difference in this crucial election. Today, I am asking you to sign up to volunteer at your local California Democratic Party headquarters.
Please sign up now by clicking here. For more information, call (213) 239-8730.
If every Democrat in California talks to 200 Democratic voters before Election Day we will make a huge difference in electing John Kerry, John Edwards and Democrats down the ticket.
You can do this with one weekend of walking door-to-door and one evening calling from a phonebank. In an office near you, you can join a phonebank or a neighborhood canvass. And if you recruit five additional people to sign up, you will do that much more to ensure Democrats turn out on Election Day.
Thank you for your dedication,
Sky Gallegos,
California State Director
ralph and i bought pumpkins last night- a wide variety in fact...cinderella pumpkins, regular pumpkins, and mini pumpkins. i wanted to buy a white pumpkin, too, but i decided my front door area (not even big enough to be called a patio) is too small to accomodate an entire pumpkin family. the cinderella pumpkins are so cool! they are oddly colored and awkwardly shaped. i've also heard them referred to as fantasy pumpkins. i'll try to find some pics or links to post.
before buying pumpkins, we ate at taco bell. being a genius about my purse (as always), i hung it on my chair. when we arrived in the albertson's parking lot i realized, "i forgot my purse!!!!!!" i was so worried because i had just paid down my credit card, i actually had cash in my wallet (a rare occurence as those who know me know), and my purse probably cost more than all the items in the wallet itself. my mom and roo just had their purses stolen so i thought that would be my luck, too. ralph raced backed to taco bell and my purse was gone. the employees were kind enough to stash it in the back because they knew i'd return. everything was in its place!!! see, sometimes it pays to be a regular at taco bell! yo quiero taco bell! ironically, while we were in eating, ralph's wallet had fallen out of his pcokets and i told him right away but i also said, "i wasn't going to tell you because i wanted to see how long you'd go without noticing that your wallet had fallen. but i would've told you before we left." karma is an odb.
i bought my first and thier first issue of women's health last night- the female equivalent to men's health. the issue is a bit scrawny but i imagine this is the case of all "first" magazine issues. i skimmed through it a bit last night and it is interesting and almost as good as men's health. it has a few useful articles, a lot of helpful information, and less advertising than say, cosmo! but naturally, all of their models have visible abs and what not. guess i should expect that considering the men they use as models in men's health. one interesting thing...they must assume that men's health readers are not also women's health readers. why do i say this? a lot of the health stufff is simply being regurgitated from past men's health issues. i'm on to their game! that must be really convenient for them...same info, different packaging. currently, they are offering 6 issues for $12 as their promo subscription offer. maybe next year it will be a monthly magazine. it is quite expensive at $4.99; i paid $5.40 for one issue (it's surely no competitor with in touch at $1.50-$1.99 per issue)! if they stop feeding me men's health info that i've already read, i might considering subscribing because i need something to replace sunset. i've also become a big fan of the new yorker since it's the only non-aarp-magazine in the lobby when i get my allergy shots. the articles are interesting and informative and i love the witty cartoons and silly illustrations. add this to the list! check.
current countdowns:
- 1 day until anthony's bday (so i'm sure you can guess the title of tomorrow's post)
- 11 days until halloween
- 14 days until the election of all elections, yes, that's 2 weeks!!!!!! they are already voting in fl.
note from my sponsor at the kerry edwards camp! ;) sorry for the caps but they like being proper.
Dear jane doe,
Our office in Washington, D.C. is emptying out every day, as more and more staff members, interns, and volunteers head out into the battleground states. Those left in the office are working harder than ever -- fourteen hour days have become twenty hour days as the homestretch of the campaign begins. For the last two years, people have been saying this election is going to come down to the wire, and they are right.
You may not live in a so called battleground state, but that doesn't mean you can't make the difference on Election Day. We have implemented two critical programs that are going to make a big difference on November 2, and you can start participating in both today:
Kerry-Edwards Phone Corps
As a member of the Kerry-Edwards Phone Corps, you can start helping our volunteer efforts in key battleground states around the country. Members of this dedicated group of supporters make phone calls into battleground states to recruit volunteers for specific events such as canvassing and phone banking.
You can join the Phone Corps and start making calls right now using our easy online tool.
Road Trip to Victory
We are looking for dedicated volunteers who are willing to travel to a battleground state this weekend, next weekend, and/or Saturday through Tuesday of election weekend. These volunteers will join the thousands of volunteers already working on the ground who are the core of our field operation.
You can sign up for the Road Trip to Victory.
This election is now in your hands. Let's go win another day.
Thank you,
Mary Beth Cahill
Campaign Manager
i'm not sure how carrie, samantha, miranda, and charlotte were able to find sex in the city because all i seem to experience there is stress, especially on the day of a very special appointment, when i'm stuck in 2-hour traffic jams! i also seem to find disgusting things on the street...such as a stuft animal bunny that had puke smeared on it, a big pile of dog poop that was stepped in at least 50 times, and some man rolled out in a corridor who smelled of alcohol and cheap musk. perhaps i just parked in a particularly nasty alley yesterday.
the speacial appointment sucked! essentially, it was a casting call and i felt like an actor who was under-dressed and not as enthusiastic as my competitiors. it turned out to be a group interview of approximately 30 people who were all there for different positions. we had to submit a resume, state our names, position desired, and then sum up in 25 words or less why were qualified for the job. what a nighmare. to top it off, we were in a stuffy room filled with the background noise that only the tenderloin can offer. luckily, only 2 people were there for the position i want but after the commute, it seems less and less appealing. also, they seem to be less like an education setting (what i expected) and more like sales sharks (not what i was expecting). the bottom line with them is money and students equal money. :(
dinner with lindsay and amanda was a good time. we had japanese and then amanda took us to this cute place called break time that served all sorts of souffles and other interesting treats. i missed the debate in real time and i tried to watch it at 10 but i couldn't keep my eyes open past kerry's first response. no offense to kerry, i was just super tired from having 6 hours of sleep the night before and then having to wake up at 6 am. i heard kerry won, again, not to my surprise. around 9 pm, i caught glimpses of replays on other networks and bush's facial expressions were as goofy as ever. way to go monkey boy!
on the way to work i was thinking about my teeth and my addiction to tea and coffee drinks. my loves stain my teeth. so i came up with the bright idea of the white coffee bean. does such a thing exist? i think it should be created so we can become a nation with brighter smiles! white tea does exist already though it is usually expensive. then i was on a roll with new ideas...for example, i love the oreo cookie but not the oreo filling. i was thinking that oreo should create a box of cookies that is simply the chocolate wafer- sans filling. my other ideas must have not been so great because they have already escaped my mind.
i purchased my halloween costume and i'm super excited about celebrating as a bee! i found a non-hooker-looking alternative to my original idea. after the bee thing fell through i was thinking of being uncle sam (rather, aunt sam) since it's an election year but the costume was rather pricey and not fitting in my budget this year. hmmm...new purse or uncle sam costume that i can wear maybe once every 4 years! the choice was simple.
if you haven't registered to vote, i believe the ca deadline is tomorrow. so get busy today! i was visting cnn.com this morning and i was reminded of how the electoral college works. it reminds me how a village idiot could be elected regardless of popular vote, but rather because of electoral votes- a very rare occurence in our history.
i hope to hike this afternoon with amanda and ralph. now i just have to talk amanda in to going to rancho (she may already prefer this too because of the photo ops at the farm!) because our current trail is starting to bore me! ;) maybe i can trespass into an animal cage again just for old times sake!
ouch...my lips are cracking from the over abundace of antihistamines in my system! any tips besides drinking more water and wearing lip balm? off i go to glue them back together again!
during the vp debate cheney referred viewers to factcheck.com (site of billionaire and blogger, george soros) to confirm his separation from haliburton. what he failed to do is get the address correct! ironically, factcheck.com is an anti-bush site! he meant to send viewers to factcheck.org which is a nonpartisan group, non profit group that checks the truth behind the politcians' words. both sites have been extraordinarily busy so good luck getting through.
i watched the debate and it was clear to me that kerry smeared bush. was i the only one who witnessed that, or was i hallucinating? i just watched the nbc coverage and they were totally promoting bush and what a great job he did. are they crazy? changed it to fox, and of course, they were all for bush too. then went back to nbc and they asked kerry's advisor what his weakest point was. hello?! why would you ask his advisor that, and worst of all, why would his advisor answer that!? finally, they interviewed real undecided voters and they concluded that kerry did better. finally!
i watched the news this am and they did a clip on how presidential mask sales during the past 12 years have been an accurate predictor of our next president. i read an article on this but i can't believe it made it to tv news. why am i surprised?
currently bush has sold 56% and kerry is left with 44%, argh! now that this has been stated, is it possible that if i bought 500 kerry masks today, might this aid kerry in the real polls on election day? there may be a coincidental correlation but i wouldn't bet my life on mask science. i would bet that this is giving statistician professors everywhere and their students something half-fun to do in class.
immediately following the mask clip, they went on to the gallup poll numbers, which they said cannot be viewed as accurate anymore due to their outdated way of collecting statistical data. this claim was made by moveon but i could not find anything related to this on their website. this claim shatters the hearts of statisticians everywhere i'm sure.
mud on my face...i just realized that none of my election links were working because their urls weren't enterred! the election center has been updated as well as ralph's new and improved site.
